- Al-Qabas Newspaper (2007): Reporter and translator in the Kuwaiti Arabic daily newspaper Al-Qabas.

- Awan newspaper (2007-2010): Editor of the weekly Theater section, reporter for the cultural daily pages covering the international literary scene by features, articles, and translated poems and short stories from English to Arabic.

- Al-Rai newspaper (2010-2011): writing features on Arts, social media, youth, and women.

 - Global Voices (2011): contributor for Global Voices, an international community of bloggers who report on blogs and citizen media from around the world.

- Global Voices Advocacy (2011): contributor for Global Voices Advocacy which is a project that seeks to build a global anti-censorship network of bloggers and online activists dedicated to protecting freedom of expression and free access to information online.
